Agreed. Without making things too complex, it would be immensely useful to have
a painlessly configured development solution, especially to enable those who
may be indirectly working with the Accumulo API and need a realistic
environment with which to work. As Keith mentioned, if we have other options
then I'd love to explore them. If we determine MAC is a viable option then
allowing the data to be persisted between different runs would enable it.
