right, at the current state, nova is usable by experienced max or pd
users ... that should change, but i was hoping to attract developers,
who might want to contribute code to novas weak parts ...

the focus of nova is its engine, the user interface is just at a state,
so that one can access the engine, not more ... from the beginning, i
was looking for people to work on the front-end ...

if someone looks for a tool that works `out of the box', use
pd/max/supercollider/chuck/csound ...

to be honest, i have spent more than two years on about 65000 lines of
code ... thinking of the complexity of a well-designed user interface,
it would probably be another 20000 or 30000 lines ... probably another
year or two of work ...
i am probably running out of time, though ... i will not be able to
spend a significant amount of my time on nova, as i did in the last
years ... and i will definitely _not_ be able to write a full-featured
user interface ...

i have not discontinued nova, yet, especially since i think its
architecture is more powerful than max/pd, but since i didn't manage to
start a community, i consider to do so ... i start to realize, that the
nova project is too big to be carried out by one person alone ...
