It depends on the end result. Suppose hypothetically, one person is a member of two groups who have read access, and this share is accessible by a login script set drive mapping? Even when using an 'IFMEMBER' statement or similar to create drive mappings based on group membership, if a user is a member of two, or all three groups, they'd have an excessive amount of drive letters.
