I value the interviewers time way too much to burden them with
excessive resume content.

Concise, accurate and informative. If you're left asking me what I am
hiding, then you didn't bother to read the one page.

Like you said, it isn't a science. Indeed, there is no wrong answer as
you can not predict the preferences of the reader of your resume.
