Matt From: Adrian P Wilkinson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 14, 2008 10:17 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Gigabit Ethernet Switches with PoE Howdy, I've spent a good few hours today looking at options for an unmanaged 24-port rack-mounted 10/100/1000 Mbps switch that supports PoE over all ports but am a little dispaired at the lack of choice. Pricewise, it seems that there's a Linksys model for around £200 ($400) then the price steps up to around £750 ($1,500) for a Cisco then to £1,250 ($2,500) for a HP ProCurve. Surely I'm missing something here. Anyone got any recommendations for a product that matches the above spec they've used? I'm in the United Kingdom (specifically, England) if that makes any difference.
