I have just bought my second mac, a 2.4ghz Unibody 13" MacBook.
I absolutely love it - its fast, stunning to look at, both the OS and the
actual build of the thing, its light, it has very good battery life.

More importantly, it does everything that I need it to do, and does it well.

I *like* the fact that the OS is closed to the hardware - it means
you don't have any issues with compatibility or anything like that. Spec up
a Dell laptop to the same as my Macboook and Ill bet there is bugger all
price difference between the two. And I know which one I would prefer.

OTOH, I have just sold a Sony Vaio laptop to a new client for £2800.
Madness.

Gavin.
