Hi Stuart,

We are only supporting Pixar Renderman dtex files initially. The plan is to add the OpenEXR 2.0 deep file format later in the year in a maintenance release, as soon as it's ready.

The source code is all available for the Nuke dtex Reader in the NDK as well, so if you need to write your own reader for a special format this would be the place to start.

Cheers,

Sean

Hello all,
I am trying to render out deep images from Houdini, which out out in a .RAT format. However, when I try to load then into Nuke using DeepRead, it gives an error saying that it cant read the .rat files. But I read on deepimage.com <http://deepimage.com> that they used houdini for their tests, meaning that they figured out somehow to read these files in.
Does anyone have any good advise on trying to figure this out?
Thanks in advance.
