change the file knob to "/Volumes/LaCie1TB/THE DEAD ONES/NUKE to Modo/sc104_110.fbx" instead of "/Volumes/LaCie1TB/THE DEAD ONES/NUKE to Modo/sc104_110.####.fbx".
an fbx file has all the frames in one file, not one file per frame.
that should solve your issue.

Here's my WriteGeo node as it was setup to create the FBX:

set cut_paste_input [stack 0]
version 6.3 v4
push $cut_paste_input
WriteGeo {
 file "/Volumes/LaCie1TB/THE DEAD ONES/NUKE to Modo/sc104_110.####.fbx"
 first 953
 last 987
 use_limit true
 file_type fbx
 animateMeshVertices true
 name WriteGeo1
 selected true
 xpos -29
 ypos 28

Probably you are not rendering the whole frame range just one
frame. It has to process all the frames even though you just get
    a singer fbx

I did all that. But when I imported it into Modo, the camera was
    not animated.
