I think it's fair to say that there hasn't been significant progress in this area, while the project has lost many of its contributing partners in the last couple months, and the focus of the work of the remaining small team will not bring new assignment and grading features in the months ahead. We're pressing ahead with making the most of the novel capabilities around content in support of learning, but the introduction of LMS-like features for course management are now at least greatly postponed, and the future is uncertain.
I don't want to be discouraging, but I do want to caution you away from any expectation that these features are just around the corner. ~Clay On Thu, Sep 20, 2012 at 7:38 PM, Harry Wang <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi All, > > I asked about the native support for assignment and gradebook in OAE in May > and want to know whether there has been any major progresses in this area. > > I saw a session by Sam and Nicolaas on this topic in this year's Sakai > conference > https://wiki.jasig.org/display/JCON/2012-06-11+Sakai+OAE+-+Tasks,+Assignments,+Grading+and+Unstructured+Feedback > > Sam and Nicolaas: any update on this? > > Any information about this is greatly appreciated. > > Thanks, > > Harry > > On May 14, 2012, at 5:25 PM, Harry Wang wrote: > > Hi Nate and Clay, > > Thanks for your replies.
