Thanks Sally for pointing this out. I do not think comparing cycling
with a helmet on to carrying a water jug on your head is a valid one.
Your neck position while cycling would be more like trying to balance
a jug of water on your nose or chin. I do not get a sore neck because
of the weight of my helmet, but the position of my neck. After a long
ride I feel like I have been staring at the ceiling for a few hours.
