Ok guys, without sounding like I am trying to gang up on you but in this world there
are thousands and thousands of women who carry jugs of water on their heads which
weigh far greater than any cycling helmet. They do this from a young age right up
until they die. Maybe we should be seeking some sort of relief for carrying water in
other countries to make women's life a lot easier. :)

What happens in other sports? Do people get aching necks and backs while playing
hockey or whatever?

I am not about to attribute medical advice to anyone on the reasons for the aching
back or neck, I am not qualified to do so. There are reasons for the aching back, I
used to get one before helmets came in vogue and my reason is because the frame was
too big. I have never had one as the result of a properly fitting helmet.
