perhaps an organisation such as hspm could be given some financial support for taking on a recycling programme? would the council / oca / obsid consider supporting an ngo for this.
if more people practised recycling there would be nothing for poor people to fish out of bins. as it is, the amount of recyclable material in bins - judging by the loud crushing of glass when the dirtcart comes around - is horrendous. it's testament to the lack of concern some of our residents show towards our environment - both local and global. until residents take more responsibility for their waste, cedric is on the button - we have expert recyclers among us. let's find a way for them to put their skills to good use and reward them for it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
