HI All Kindly be specific to which noise is referred to, still being a problem, or which had started up again.
I have been slow with feedback re the screech noise, unfortunately due to my busyness. *Kindly peruse below, and refer all future noise issues or thoughts to be from GSH, via me please.* *Screech Noise feedback:* - Two separate screch noises were identified by GSH technical staff and both were remedied. - I am no longer aware of this noise. - I met with the heads or managers of the GSH Technical, Maintenance and Health and Safety after the matters were remedied to confirm all GSH noise matters were sorted. - They had done an extensive inspections of all their systems and all running to specifications. - I was given a tour of the main industrial heaviest noise generating machinery and am satisfied that they give no cause of noise disturbance. *Current doef doef heard at night mainly when North conditions prevail.* - An Arnold Street resident took the noise matter up with the Municipal authority, and directed the two investigators to me yesterday. - I followed this noise up this morning between 3 and 4 am and localised the source of the noise. - I will take the matter up with the entity concerned and will give feedback soonest. - I will notify the Municipal Department accordingly. - *Kindly also direct any further doef doef noise issues with me, as liaising to have it sorted out.* The other nightly drone thud thud noise was identified by Councillor Thomas as Municipal storm-water drain cleaners, and trust that this is now "past tense" issues. You are welcome to raise your noise concerns, but constructive and a with bit of detail please.
