Asking for specific application names doesn't always work, however Megido is
looking to solve that area, based around Free Pascal Kompiler (FPK) Megido
is being worked on to provide the MCL (Megido Component Library) which is
compatible with the VCL but based around the Gimp Toolkit (GTK). FPK is
already full delphi compatible for compilation of source. (afaik).

The Megido project can be found at http://www.megido.il.eu.org.

The ArcInfo and Atlas programs you mention sound like specialized, maybe
inhouse developed applications, and therefore probably not available for
linux, but then - you're a developer, do something for the cause and write
it yourself.

As for Office, Star Office is fully compatible with Office 97, Word, Excel,
et.all - as for Access - get a life, WHO WANTS ACCESS??? When you have a
full compliment of powerful database severs avaialble for linux like MySQL,
Postgres, Interbase, DB2, you don't really need access :)
