Just a quick follow-up on Star Office that was mentioned earlier...
After some initial pains with setup (MS setup this was NOT), we got it in. It does
look good. Only played with Write to any degree though Calc also looks good. It
cant completely manage word 97 compound docs as far as we can see, but for
most Word Docs, especially the sort of notes you get attached to emails, it worked
fine. Early days but we are definitely evaluating more thoroughly for both Linux
and Sun with view to purchase.
