I see also no openness for contributions.

It seems to be obvious why this happened: the expectations from the community 
regarding openness and possible influence in the project have not been 
redeemed.

Given the fact that a vital community is the well of customers, It seems to be 
strange to see that Oracle currently ingnores the community (regarding the most 
important questions from the community). I expect Oracle to be interested to 
earn money from the aquisition of Sun and for the same reason, I expect that 
Oracle should be interested in a communication with the community.

We are in a good situation for such a communication as we have an OGB that makes
such a communication efficient.

To be honest, I currently have no idea how we could enforce such a 
communication 
with Oracle without causing possible harm to the community. But as Oracle does 
not answer our questions, we also have plenty of time to think about the 
problem ;-)
