At the start of Chapter 3, and elsewhere. ALL 3e classes use the same XP
chart... didn't you know?

The "rule" you can't include in a D20 work (either as is or as a
replacement) is "When total XP reaches value x, increase character level by
one. Advance one class by one level, or pick a new class at level one.
Roll one new hit die and add it to your HP total, and add together all the
values for attack and saves from all your classes at their current level."

[note, that's just an example, and shouldn't be taken as a really really
good guideline...]

Ryan's even said you *COULD* include a new XP chart--you just couldn't say
what it's for.
