But we can look at The Wizard's Amulet and consider what should be marked as
OGC under today's license as if the adventure were going to be released
tomorrow. In that sense we can use it as an example.
And I had the page number wrong. The material I'm wondering about is on page
6, column 2, the section "Starting Combat". Sorry about that. My question is
should that section or parts of that section be marked as OGC because it
gives game instructions on how to use the Spot skill to determine surprise.
For the record, I don't think NG was trying to slip something through. If it
turns out that some material should be marked as OGC, then I am convinced
that it was a simple oversight on the part of the authors. I think TWA and
NG are completely aligned with the spirit of of open gaming.
