Cute idea.  It actually puts me in mind of something
that someone might be able to charge for, down the
road.  They could charge a fee to do a complete "title
search" type of thing on all the sources someone wants
to use in a product.  As more and more products make
their way into the market, it may become quite a bit
more complex to be absolutely certain your sources are
as Open as they purport to be.  A person in this line
of work would have to buy allllllll the d20 and OGL
products on the market and could claim them as a
"business expense".  [ahem]
