No, the community has no standing to do so, no matter how appropriate it
might seem at the time.  Only the party who's OGC has been closed has any
standing to seek to have a breach cured.  The very best thing the community
can do is contact the original copyright holder and get them to do it.
Anything else is just as bad as the original violation.
