Yeah, you just reiterated what I said earlier, that OGL is too synonymous with the d20 System to the average Joe consumers right now.
Which is why we must educate the public further on the generic use of OGL. Who knows? Perhaps in the near future, a brave, intelligent designer (or a pool of designers) is willing to distribute original non-d20 OGCs. Which is why I ask: Is WotC aware of this possible scenario with regards to the OGL? Because from my perspective, I can see the Open Gaming movement may evolved from the d20 System into a more open gaming system.
