First off, I'd like to apologize. While I realize there is a new version of
the d20 System Trademark License (version 3.0) available now, Wizards have
not yet approve the new draft of the Usage Guide (distributed earlier on the
list, courtesy of Ryan Dancey). So at this time, one cannot refer to any
other Wizards' core rulebooks except the Dungeons & Dragons Third Edition
Player's Handbook.

As for the d20 Modern, will that rules address a classless chargen rule that
is present in CoC?

Is it possible for publishers to produce a RPG product that features no
class without infringing on the copyright of Wizards' CoC rulebook?
