Part of the problem comes in figuring out what does and does not constitute rules vs. game mechanics vs. creative expression.

Another problem is that they used a lot of feats, etc. from things like the Netbooks of Feats and they didn't note what was from where, at least not in their title page OGC description.
 
The NBOF stuff is easy to spot because the Section 15 for the Netbooks pretty much requires you to list all the individual feats, etc. in Section 15.

I just had no clue, thumbing through the Ultimate Feats volume what was and wasn't OGC looking at the legal section.  Maybe there was some internal designations I couldn't spot.
