To the best of my knowledge I don't have any special merge options. There's technically a feature that does that, but it's non-functional. So the only way, currently, to merge items is painstakingly by hand (and then alerting someone with admin rights to delete the extra record - I'd love it if we could have some way to automate that process). I'm a longtime supporter/pal of OL/IA which I think is why when I offered to do support stuff there wasn't a long vetting process because there was an immediate job that needed doing. When I tried to get an assistant to help me out, that took a while and wasn't ultimately successful.

I kick stuff "upstairs" to Jeff Kaplan the QA/Support guy when there are clear-cut things that need fixing. He then, I think, talks to Anand, but yes things get fixed in a magical style, even for me. I don't know what a "pull request" is, could you clarify?
