Indeed, why developer time hasn't been dedicated to this instead of other
less obviously needed issues kinda amazes me. Especially if the high-ups
want a community to form - frustrating users making basic editing
impossible doesn't seem like the best way for that. Unsure if there's
anyone to whom this could be said that has any power and would listen
though :(
