I totally understand you frustration, Sarah, for my it's the same. But I just 
don't want to quit OL since it seems to be the only project which is supposed 
to be an open community producing free data.

If technically and from a workflow point of view, getting pull request accepted 
is possible, should a few people unite to code this feature?
