Ok I understand and agree with you , due the lack of time
we have to stick with this, but at least you consider
dropping vlc and replace it with a more easy to maintain

A distribution that can not play a dvd out-of-the-box is hilarious
Digital Video Disk is a obsolete technology ..... and still the
RC iso default player segfaults on a DVD.....
