The way Pootle is configured at Apache there is not a new user registration. It uses the the existing Apache LDAP and existing Apache logins. This means that only Committers can log in to Pootle. Given this limitation, and little hope that it will go away, we need to figure out how new localization volunteers can help with the project. In the "How to help" draft I posted, I suggested two ways: 1) Entering suggestions in Pootle 2) Working off-line with a translation client instead of Pootle. Another option might be: 3) We quickly vote in as committers any new volunteer so they can access Pootle. -Rob > Albino
