That should work fine. You will need to do apt-get for the tools you need. You can browse the doc repository and read the top-level read me file which has some help on what tools you need. You need subversion obviously. Do a check of the doc files. It's been awhile since I've been on an Ubuntu system and I never knew the apt-get commands off the top of my head anyway. David can specify best what tools you need for the docbook stuff and I bet Moritz will chime in later with the proper apt-get commands. As always ask questions when you get stuck. > I don't have slick-edit, not could I imagine myself affording it, but I am > very very handy with Kedit which can match tags. Any editor is fine. I don't use the SlickEdit xml stuff too much because I don't have it set up well. Editing is mostly a matter of visualizing what the text looks like without the tags (for me.) -- Mark Miesfeld ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Oorexx-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-devel
