Hi Mark, Dan & Rene,
Thanks for all your suggestions.
Given my propensity for finding my way through new things, I'm going to
stick as close to the beaten path as I can.
To that end, I'm dumping my Ubuntu guest VM and will try to get a Fedora VM
instead, and then see what I can make of the readme.
No doubt you'll hear from me soon enough.
