Mark,
Ok, I think I now have the 32 bit version installed.

How can I tell and be sure?

There is nothing in the "version" output that identifies 32-bit vs
64-bit that I can see.

(By the way, the 64-bit version installs very quickly and without any
hassle -
If it weren't for the incompatibility between REXXSQL,
and REXX 4.1 64-bit I wouldn't have had any trouble....)

bill@WB4ALM-07:~$ rexxtry.rex
REXX-ooRexx_4.1.0(MT) 6.03 3 Dec 2010
rexxtry.rex lets you interactively try REXX statements.
Each string is executed when you hit Enter.
Enter 'call tell' for a description of the features.
Go on - try a few... Enter 'exit' to end.

parse version abc
   ............................................... rexxtry.rex on LINUX
say abc
REXX-ooRexx_4.1.0(MT) 6.03 3 Dec 2010
   ............................................... rexxtry.rex on LINUX
exit

Here is the console log from doing the install.
