If you used JDBC, you could stick to 64-Bit ooRexx.
You'd get access to JDBC, if you installed BSF4ooRexx from <http://sourceforge.net/projects/bsf4oorexx/> and merley need to add the jar to the classpath of the database system you wish to interact with. In the BSF4ooRexx "samples" directory, go into the subdirectory "ReneJansen" and check out the script "jdbc.jrexx" which demonstrates how to create a table, insert some records and query the table; this script runs for PostGres, derby and hsql. You could easily extend it to e.g. use DB2/UDB etc. ---rony ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-novd2d _______________________________________________ Oorexx-devel mailing list Oorexx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-devel
