Yep that is MinGW - the catch using this compiler is normaly problems
when trying to link with exsisting dll's (user space problems, things
might be different in the kernel). I have however not used this
compiler for more than a year, so things might be different now. Does
anyone know if MinGW can be used for compiling WDI compatible drivers
?.

I realy would like to set up a free development enviroment for doing
Windows kernel hacking - if we somehow can get gcc running, then all
we need is access to the kernel headers, this can perhaps be achived
using some free ddk (last time i checked, the latest Windows XP DDK
cost around 200$ pr. license).
