        Sounds like Scribus is the user community most concerned with this. 
The question, then, is whether they need to have this working for OGD1.  If
not, and you can confidently verify the logic for the extra bits without
implementing them on OGD1, then they could be deferred to OGC1 or an OGD2. 
Or, the LVDS buffers might be implemented as an OGD1 option, with cuttable
tracks bridging the LVDS buffer sites.
