I got involved with the audio because I wanted to help out, and although there
was interest, nobody seemed to have a focused idea for it. No guts, no glory,
and all.

I am currently working on RFC2 for that (I wanted it ready for this past
Saturday, but it is taking somewhat longer than I anticipated :/ ) but if you
want it posted elsewhere, I will be happy to accommodate. I want it to work
out, but I don't want to hurt/hamper OGA in any way, either.

A PC card is what I am interested in for OGA as well. And I would take "Just
Works" over the current mess in the graphics industry in a heartbeat. Even if
the hardware internals are not open is secondary to me if the interface is
fully documented. Maybe I would care more about that if I had my own FAB, but
FPGA's are a nice compromise ;)
/me fondly remembers his /fully documented/ Commodore 64 :)

I seem to recall seeing people like that on this list :)
