I didn't expect that a little side discussion about audio would cause that much distraction. This list isn't that high-traffic. Keep in mind that OGD1 would be a development platform for an audio product, and we need to sell OGD1 boards. When OGD1 becomes available, this list is going to be all OGD1 discussion for a while, and only after that settles will we be focusing on OGA. It makes sense to me that if multiple discussions interfere with each other (too much list traffic, for instance), then we should have more lists. We could have one for OGD, and another for OGA, and another for audio, etc. At the moment, however, since only one is ever all that active in discussion, I expect we'll end up with multiple dead lists. I realize, however, that OGD1 will be less of a distraction than an audio products.
