One conclusion could be that further audio talk (if any) might be

I am currently working on RFC2 for that (I wanted it ready for this
past Saturday, but it is taking somewhat longer than I anticipated :/
) but if you want it posted elsewhere, I will be happy to
accommodate. I want it to work out, but I don't want to hurt/hamper
OGA in any way, either.
No additional list available at this time. And as said, I don't myself
mind it. Lost interest a bit when people just wouldn't stop talking
about ethernet but that's just me.
(not withstanding a "if you don't have anything positive to say, say
nothing at all" motto, I in fact also have problems seeing commercial
viability of a sound product).
Even if the hardware internals are not open is secondary to me if the
interface is fully documented.
Exactly the same for me. I just want open interface specs. Hard to build
a community around a non-open hardware design though and when Tech
Source decided to not go forward, community became more important. But
yes, I wouldn't mind Traversal doing a more old style thing and giving
me a black-box chip, as long as it's accompanied by a 200 page PDF
describing every aspect of the interface.
