Like I suggested earlier. FINISH the process first.

The company as a whole exists as the SAME corporation THROUGH a name change
(TAX ID etc doesn't change).  It would be MUCH easier to accomplish this
AFTER the 501(c) (3) process than in the middle of it... (if your already
started it as I seem to recall).

I do not know what the set-back would be.  From the reading I have done,
from a state perspective it is not a huge deal to file and amendment to
the articles of incorporation.  My concern would be what it does to the
IRC 501(c)(3) process.  If the board decides to seriously pursue a name
change, we can find out what the impact will be and take that into
consideration.
