I tried to mess with it in GIMP, but I have neither the proper tools
nor the proper skill.  I put another copy of that image (extracted
from the ODT file) here, so someone else might take a crack at it:

Ok, I initially didn't intend to do this, I just was curious about how
well GIMP's selection tools would work for this sort of thing, since
the last time I trimmed a photo, it was in MS Paint (don't ask me why
I used to subject myself to that), but then once I got started, I
couldn't help but finish it. I didn't do the holes, since they were in
varying sizes, and it was hard to do them all well.  I made the
background transparent instead of white, but it should be easy to
change if needed. If you take any more pictures of it, I beg of you to
take them on a background that isn't the same color as the PCB :)
