On point 4) above, I completely confused. How is the 92/120 pin
connector compatible with the 60 way connector.

I know some of the gumstix cards are compatible with more
that one version of the motherboard, but I think thats because
the newer motherboards have 2 (connex) or 3 connector (verdex) types
 fitted, not because a 92 way will fit on a 60 way.
