A somewhat useful separation could be splitting the HDL parsing into a
separate library. Seeing how the HIDE should be able to parse HDL files
( I think? ), a own library that does that for us would be great. I'm
thinking of something that takes verilog files as an input and generate
a somewhat more abstracted model. Add the possibility to add signals /
connect different modules, and we have the logic side of HIDE. 

Would be a more suitable 2-months project as well.

Do you have any references to this? Would be great if you have the URL
to the discussion, and if you want feel free to throw it in in the wiki
