I can offer up my meager knowledge for mentoring as well.

Whatever parts can be done in the Bosch simulator I can get up to speed and tackle as well. I have a new PC on the way so I'll soon be diving into what little I can comprehend at the hardware level. If you have something in particular that needs attention then ask if I can help out and I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

So, it's about time to write the application for the summer of code. But
before I do so, I need answer to a couple of things.

First of all, we need mentors. Anyone here willing to be a mentor for
two months during the summer? Should not be a lot of work, just answer a
couple of questions, and most of the discussion would happen in the
 mailing list.

I can be one.

2nd, the application requires a backup organisational contact. Anyone
wants the job in the case I suddenly drop during the summer? ( God forbid ).

Finally, do we have some small projects in hardware that people can do
for 2 months? I've chatted with some guys on [EMAIL PROTECTED] that would
like to do more hardware orientated projects. Remember, not only do we
get work done, but we also get funding for each successful student.

Maintenance and debugging of existing parts of our VGA solution? This
would mostly involve creating and running simulations then looking at
the results in a wave viewer.

That might be too much for some people.

I'll get back with the actual application later.
