So, it's about time to write the application for the summer of code. But before I do so, I need answer to a couple of things.
First of all, we need mentors. Anyone here willing to be a mentor for two months during the summer? Should not be a lot of work, just answer a couple of questions, and most of the discussion would happen in the mailing list. 2nd, the application requires a backup organisational contact. Anyone wants the job in the case I suddenly drop during the summer? ( God forbid ). Finally, do we have some small projects in hardware that people can do for 2 months? I've chatted with some guys on [EMAIL PROTECTED] that would like to do more hardware orientated projects. Remember, not only do we get work done, but we also get funding for each successful student.
