First of all, I disagree with your wanting to write in XML format. Please
consider that the XML writing can easily be scripted within OpenCard, and
should be easy enough to add into the main code in the future. Whoever creates
a browser plug-in for the xTalk interpreter can worry about reading XML, which
is probably not a big problem either. It's just different stack i/o routines,
nothing major (well, it is somewhat major). Secondly, we're emphasizing
EASINESS, and the first time I read "Tell word 1 to set color to red", I
didn't quite understand it. The correct xTalk syntax would be:
Set the color of word 1 of cd fld "haha" to red
or
put red into the color of word 1 of cd fld "haha"
