Rob: Perhaps not for predefined constants; but it would be nice if the scripter could define and assign values to constants on openStack that would be inherited by all objects in the stack without resorting to getGlobal(). OTOH, if the hack to the interpreter wouldn't be any more efficient, I can live with setGlobal().
