Brian,

 in the Interpreter sources, there's some code Anthony wrote to do a
Just-In-Time compiler. It was too slow, but maybe it can be modified to become
useful as a CodeWarrior compiler. Of course, this would be much less useful,
as self-modifying code wouldn't be possible as easily as with HC and the
object model wouldn't be present. Theoretically it's present, but I think that's
something for OpenCard 3 or so, not for the first release.
