Hello, Work in progress, but still some problems. I got tcsh and put /usr/local/dx/bin and /usr/local/dx/bin_cygwin in my PATH ( may I suggest to put in the Readme file that this is needed?) and I can run dx.
1. Running dx: a) Run Tutorial : OK, I get the help file b) Trying run, edit or new Visual Programs or samples gives the VPE window and the error message : File DXEXEC.EXEC linked to a missing exportation LIBZ.DLL:inflatelnit_ Then "timeout waiting for response from dx" in the bash window and I have to kill dx. 2. Running dx -uionly : I get the VPE Window. I can build or edit programs, but I can't execute them. In most of the sample programs ( such as isosurface2D.net) no option of the Execute menu can't be accessed. In some sample programs, only the Sequencer option of the Execute Menu can be accessed (Autocolor.net). When I try this option, I get a control panel, but each control gives "no connection to the server". But I don't understand : the X server is running! Then I try the Connect menu and it gives the same error as above, but I did not find any help for this menu (maybe I missed it) and I don't know what to do with the Connect options. Please could you tell me what is missing in my installation ?
