Why so many /usr/local/bin in PATH? I would rather get ride of all
those paths, and let dx script do the things for you.

libz.dll in /usr/X11R6/bin from Xfree86 uses flate and inflate (means
compression)
and this symbols is exported by libz.dll from xfree86, that I know for sure.
Can you do a search on your entire hard disk and see how many libz.dlls you
got.
I suspect your path is rather long with unneccessary directory included in
path
and perhaps you have mutiple versions of libz.dll with different export
symbols.
