OK Suhaib, My Cygwin112 and Xfree86 install were built on June 17. Then I got the new X11 DLLS and also the cygwin1.dll snapshot from July 19 from a mirror site (franken.de). I noticed that libz.dll was in /usr/X11R6/bin and /usr/local/dx/bin with the same file size. But I have the same error when I type dx and try to run samples : File DXEXEC.EXEC linked to a missing export LIBZ.DLL:inflatelnit_ With dx -uionly, I can edit samples but not run them : it asks me to connect to a server, and when I do it I get the same message as above. Maybe something could be wrong in the PATH or env variables ? PATH=.:(my home bin):/usr/local/bin:(windows and other utilities path): /usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/dx/bin:/usr/local/dx/bin_cygwin DXROOT not setup, but I have seen that the dx scripts sets DXROOT to /usr/local/dx if it is undefined. My OpenDX Cygwin version binary install has been built on July 21 following your Readme file. Do you have an idea ? Thanks again. -- Richard GRENON ONERA Departement d'Aerodynamique Appliquee - DAAP/ACI BP 72, 92322 CHATILLON CEDEX - FRANCE phone : +33 1 46 73 42 17 fax : +33 1 46 73 41 46 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.onera.fr
