Well I'm not sure why I get the impression that unavailability of FTP on
the host was the thing that stopped all the work before :)

I would appreciate if someone consider me just a volunteer in this group,
I'm not responsible for providing certain facilities to the group or
something similar, I'm volunteering with what I got, and anyone can offer
stuff better than me.

Anyway I was (and still) hosting the website on a VPS that has lots of
other websites, and I never install FTP on my servers, and I'm not willing
to give anyone SSH access to my server cause it has more than 10 production
servers. So anyone wants to get anything ready on a staging server (like
the one I gave to unixmechanic, and to ADEF before) and give me files to
upload to the current server, I would happily do it. If anyone needs FTP or
other facilities that I don't have, then he's more than welcomed to offer
hosting the website on his server and I'll happily point the domain to his
server - after the group approval of course -.

I understand that AMahdy is doing a great job in this mailing list.
Actually if I had time I would happily help him. I would urge anyone who
can to help him in managing this mailing list. What he is doing has to be
appreciated by all of us.
